From one Muslim to the world

“..Take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus does He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.” (al-An’am 6:151)

The verses of Qur’an reveal that killing any human being without a just cause is equal to killing the entire humanity. If this is what the holy book teaches, then how do you suspect the Muslim population to be blood-sucking leeches? The recent dreadful Paris attack, the attack on Mumbai and so many others by terrorists are simply expressing their hostility towards the very religion they claim to be theirs! They are the people who are committing horrible crimes in the name of Islam. They have lost their humanity in the midst of evil and are trying to disrupt the peaceful society. We defy those people and their unforgiving acts. They do not belong to Islam. Islam prohibits suicide and murders. In fact, no religion favours taking life.  If the motive for terrorism is religious, it is impermissible in Islamic law. It is forbidden to attempt to impose Islam on other people. The Qur’an says, “There is no compulsion in religion. The right way has become distinct from error.” (-The Cow, 2:256).

Stop suspecting us! Stop making us feel a leper, an outcast! We are a part of this world and we, too loath the blasphemous terrorists! We are humans and unlike any other terrorist, we fear getting someone’s blood on our hands. Do not stereotype us for that one per cent who are spoiling the pure Islamic religion.”The Prophet also said that there are people who kill in the name of Islam and go to hell. And when he was asked why, he said, ‘Because they weren’t fighting truly for the sake of God.’ It is painful to be scrutinized every minute by hundreds of eyes. It is cruel of you to think we don’t feel how you do. It is insulting to call all of us, “heartless wretched and cold-blooded animals.”

This is a message, a request from one Muslim to the world that, “Every Muslim is not a terrorist.”

  1. It’s not Muslims who are spreading terror, it’s a few thousand (or more) brainwashed men who are doing this.

    It’s not them who started this, it’s the west. There’s a TEDTalk about this I watched, the unstability caused by US interference in the Middle East has helped the spread of revolutionary groups which is coming to bite them back. Once your government is unable to protect you, you’ll look up to whoever is able to stand up to the big bully.

    And I dislike how Paris has galvanised the world into realising the reality of what they are heading into, you don’t see them being concerned about Mumbai, Beruit, or even the million of refugees from Syria.

    It’s disgusting what Humanity has come to.

    I hate to crack jokes at a time like this, but these fools make me, so listen up folks—————————–

    JOKE No. 1-

    9/11 : Two airplanes crash into the twin towers and explode. Everything melts in the molten burning mass including the black box of the plane. Building 7 (third tower) collapses due to the heat generated by the nearby burning towers………But, the cops retrieve the passports of the hijackers intact from the burning molten mass(?) and confirm that they were Muslim terrorists. Wow!!! Even Superman couldn’t have done that. The Jews are extremely cunning we know.. but this is more to do with Muslims being fools.

    Charlie Hebdo: Terrorists plan and execute a heinous act of terror inside an office and flee….But, they conveniently forget their IDs in their car as a present for the cops to catch them later. Wow again. How stupid of those terrorists! 😏😏

    Paris attack 2015: Suicide bombers blow themselves to bits and crazy gunmen open fire, but they were carrying their passports with them just incase they get into trouble with the authorities. Really???? (9/11 Deja vu?) How is that even possible???

    Nobody said anything to Russia or Israel for their attacks on Syria and Palestine. Nobody stood in solidarity with Lebanon when bombs rocked the country. Nobody batted an eye when thousands of Muslims were burned alive in Burma. Nobody tuk the colors of the Turkish flag when Ankara had a similary bombing last month with 100 plus dead. Nobody stopped USA when it attacked Iraq following baseless, false information about weapons of mass destruction. Nobody stopped those wretched Zionists from killing innocent children and women of Gaza.

    I just shudder to imagine what kind of a ruthless world our children are about to inherit. May Allah protect us from all the fitnas. Trials n tribulations

  3. Be assured that the majority of the world will agree with you 100% and accept you as nothing more, or less, than human beings with some core belief differences. There will always be ignorance as displayed against laws in general; against people with mental health issues; people with handicaps; people who simply look different – but that ignorance is a minority group of people. As you clearly note, all religions teach compassion, understanding and love. Sadly, our news media only shows despair and destruction (good for viewers ratings!) however, be assured that most of the world’s population will stand with you against those sad individuals who see no future in their lives other than to die while killing others, and against those who persecute because of spiritual and/or cultural differences.

    I used to trust Muslim but now I don’t at all. Your community has broken my trust again & again. Every 6 person out of 10 believes that I am a Kafir. And it is perfectly fine to rape, kill, destroy Kafir. They believe in caliphate- entire under Islamic rule. That is precisely what ISIS wants apart from sex with minor girls. Celebration when Pakistan wins, ISIS & Pakistan flag in Kashmir , Inviting Pakistan PM at Jama Masjid & praising him openly, Rally for Yakub Menon , Cry for Aurangzeb road who was famous for persecution of Hindus ………………………………….. Seems like your community doesn’t really give shit about other religion, right?
    Your blog is fine . But words are not going to heal anything. Words are shallow without coherent action. And I don’t see any actions.Blogs, videos, news media & loud voice are useless. I am looking for dramatic actions. I am sorry that you have to suffer because of this. But you may have to for a long time to come until your community “Act more & Talk less” I don’t trust you guys any longer because I care about my religion , my sister, my family , my great grand children future.

I respect your words and I won’t delete the comment because the opinion of every individual matters. To rape, kill and destroy the kafir is not what Islam preaches. It believes in living with peace and respect. I just can’t force my religion on you. it’s haram in Islam. What you are seeing around you are the laws manipulated and created by the jihadists and wahabbi. I don’t give a damn about what the ISIS wants. I don’t even count them as humans. Talking about India-Pakistan war, it’s going on since a very long time but you can’t blame Muslims for the separation of India and Pakistan. Before that, we all lived togetherz watching each other’s back.       1. I hope that before your comment is deleted (if it is deleted!), you will be courteous enough to read a Christian perspective on this. I know many Christians who do not follow the bible’s teachings, but I do not condemn (or isolate) all Christians as a result. I have met Muslims who I found arrogant, but I do not assume that all Muslims are arrogant. I used to work with a wonderful Pakistani doctor, but I have also know a few Pakistanis who were offensive to me. My point (hopefully an obvious one) is that whatever culture, religion, nationality we meet on our journey through our life, there will be individuals that we have every reason not too like. It is however, totally illogical to treat all corresponding individuals with the assumption that all are the same. I believe tolerance and understanding is a core belief to all of us.

I have learned that one should never respond to an issue when emotionally charged, but rather to wait until one can think clearly and create a convincing response to support ones position.       6. I read my comment again and I never said I blame you for anything not even for Ind-Pak war. How can I blame good person for wrongs done by bad people ? What I said & I repeat I don’t trust you guys any more. I know there are good people in Islam . But that doesn’t mean anything if they just oppose bad people in “words” only. And do nothing. Let me say this I am ready to trust to you guys again but give me something to stand on other than blogs, a book, video etc. I want good people like you take control of situation & literally destroy those bastards. Ignorance fuels the need for purpose in people’s lives. They need a place in drama, a facsimile of true purpose, being in God’s will. Like disconnected, unprogrammed, idle and listless instruments of evil. It is the lack of the Life of God which leads folk to be enlisted by Satan (Shitana?     Its so saddening every time I see or read about it.
    I wonder why do we keep on justifying we’re so innocent when we already know we’re not.
    Instead of looking down upon ourselves to check our deeds we always keep on blabbing about what others wrong.
    I really hope my comment doesn’t offend you. And please be assured its not directed towards you; but, to the whole Muslim community.
    I’m just trying to make a point here that the reason we, as Muslims suffer so much in this world is because we stopped lowering ourselves before Allah; and this is the sole reason why Allah has degraded us before everyone.
    And you already know this world is never going to be a better place as the we’re nearing the dooms day.
    You write so well. And there are people who reach out for you. To read you.
    I think you should now write about the reasons why its happening what’s happening, and how can we stop it from happening.

  18. Well said. I understand what you mean very well. I understand also from our experiences. We fought the war in the name of the emperor who was made only nominal. A U.S. veteran once said to me, “We fought the war in the name of democracy. And we were told democracy is the will of God.” It is always a handful of people who resort to violence for their own power and wealth in the name, responsibility and sacrifice of others. There is only a small number of Muslims here, and I know they are making furious efforts that they may not be misunderstood because of the recent series of incidents. I ‘m sympathetic with them. I’m afraid there still is a long way to go before we all understand each other truthfully so that peace, prosperity and happiness are all brought to Earth. For that purpose, we can only do what we can – hopefully together.

    Khwarij’s like TTP and Daesh are are plundering the islamic world. It all started with hasan sabah in the 10th century AD whose followers even branded sultan salahuddin ayubi as ‘murtad and conspritor of the jews’ when he spared christians and jews after he conquered jerusalem. RasoolAllah (SAW) gave various signs of khwarij’s in hadith that are availible on google.
    1 – They will be young in age.
    2- They will be brain washed.
    3- They shall quote Quran believing it is for them although in reality it is against them.
    4- They will be extremely oppressive, blood thirsty & violent.
    5- They will be most evil of creation.
    6- They will be made dogs of hell[In the hereafter].
    7- They will take verses reveal about disbelievers and apply them to the believers.
    8- They will declare one who commits a major sin is a disbeliever. They will declare lawful blood and wealth of someone who commits a major sin.
    9- They will seize a particular area and make it center of terror activities.
    10- They will have thick unkempt beards.
    11- They will emerge from the east.
    12- They will continue to emerge until last of them appears with Anti-Christ (dajjal).
    13- Their faiths will not pass their throat.(qualities of true faith will not pass their throats)
    14- They will extremists in religious matters.
    15- Believer will consider his own prayer and fasting insignificant in comparison to theirs[i.e Khawarij].
    16- They will avoid negotiations with those who are righteous.
    17- They will kill muslims and let go idol worshipers go free.
    18- The one killed by them is best person killed.
    19- Those who fight against them will earn a great reward.
    20- They[Khawarij] are the worst of those slain under the heavens.
    21- They[Khawarij] would secede [from the Ummah] when there would be dissension among the Muslims. Out of the two groups[of believers] who would be nearer the truth would kill them.
    22- They will exit the Deen like an arrow does from the prey.

  30. 1. Terrorism is above all murder. Murder is strictly forbidden in the Qur’an. Qur’an 6:151 says, “and do not kill a soul that God has made sacrosanct, save lawfully.” (i.e. murder is forbidden but the death penalty imposed by the state for a crime is permitted). 5:53 says, “… whoso kills a soul, unless it be for murder or for wreaking corruption in the land, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind; and he who saves a life, it shall be as if he had given life to all mankind.”

    2. If the motive for terrorism is religious, it is impermissible in Islamic law. It is forbidden to attempt to impose Islam on other people. The Qur’an says, “There is no compulsion in religion. The right way has become distinct from error.” (-The Cow, 2:256). Note that this verse was revealed in Medina in 622 AD or after and was never abrogated by any other verse of the Quran. Islam’s holy book forbids coercing people into adopting any religion. They have to willingly choose it.

    3. Islamic law forbids aggressive warfare. The Quran says, “But if the enemies incline towards peace, do you also incline towards peace. And trust in God! For He is the one who hears and knows all things.” (8:61) The Quran chapter “The Cow,” 2:190, says, “Fight in the way of God against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! God loveth not aggressors.”

    4. In the Islamic law of war, not just any civil engineer can declare or launch a war. It is the prerogative of the duly constituted leader of the Muslim community that engages in the war. Nowadays that would be the president or prime minister of the state, as advised by the mufti or national jurisconsult.

    5. The killing of innocent non-combatants is forbidden. According to Sunni tradition, ‘Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, the first Caliph, gave these instructions to his armies: “I instruct you in ten matters: Do not kill women, children, the old, or the infirm; do not cut down fruit-bearing trees; do not destroy any town . . . ” (Malik’s Muwatta’, “Kitab al-Jihad.”)

    6. Terrorism or hirabah is forbidden in Islamic law, which groups it with brigandage, highway robbery and extortion rackets– any illicit use of fear and coercion in public spaces for money or power. The principle of forbidding the spreading of terror in the land is based on the Qur’an (Surah al-Ma’ida 5:33–34). Prominent [pdf] Muslim legal scholar Sherman Jackson writes, “The Spanish Maliki jurist Ibn `Abd al-Barr (d. 464/ 1070)) defines the agent of hiraba as ‘Anyone who disturbs free passage in the streets and renders them unsafe to travel, striving to spread corruption in the land by taking money, killing people or violating what God has made it unlawful to violate is guilty of hirabah . . .”

    7. Sneak attacks are forbidden. Muslim commanders must give the enemy fair warning that war is imminent. The Prophet Muhammad at one point gave 4 months notice.

    8. The Prophet Muhammad counseled doing good to those who harm you and is said to have commanded, “Do not be people without minds of your own, saying that if others treat you well you will treat them well, and that if they do wrong you will do wrong to them. Instead, accustom yourselves to do good if people do good and not to do wrong (even) if they do evil.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

    9. The Qur’an demands of believers that they exercise justice toward people even where they have reason to be angry with them: “And do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness.”[5:8]

    10. The Qur’an assures Christians and Jews of paradise if they believe and do good works, and commends Christians as the best friends of Muslims. I wrote elsewhere, “Dangerous falsehoods are being promulgated to the American public. The Quran does not preach violence against Christians.

    “

    Quran 5:69 says (Arberry): “Surely they that believe, and those of Jewry, and the Christians, and those Sabeaans, whoso believes in God and the Last Day, and works righteousness–their wage waits them with their Lord, and no fear shall be on them, neither shall they sorrow.”

    In other words, the Quran promises Christians and Jews along with Muslims that if they have faith and works, they need have no fear in the afterlife. It is not saying that non-Muslims go to hell– quite the opposite.

    When speaking of the 7th-century situation in the Muslim city-state of Medina, which was at war with pagan Mecca, the Quran notes that the polytheists and some Arabian Jewish tribes were opposed to Islam, but then goes on to say:

    5:82. ” . . . and you will find the nearest in love to the believers [Muslims] those who say: ‘We are Christians.’ That is because amongst them are priests and monks, and they are not proud.”

  32. I have many Muslim friends too and I am so happy to know them…They love their religion but some of them are the kindest souls I know and i am so lucky. Muslims are not terrorists, they are like me and you, they are humans first of all… Wonderful post Alisha 🙂
